52 School St.
Yarmouth ME
April 26 (rain or shine), starting at 9:45 to 11:15, overlooking the Royal River in Yarmouth. Anyone interested is invited to attend and watch or participate. Watching is fine! No experience necessary. Park in the lots at the entrance by the Rowe Elementary School on School Street. Continue on the access road that goes behind the school (school on your left) and the park will be on your right. From the school, finding us is easy, intuitive.
The WTCQD organization (Bill Douglas & Angela Wong Douglas) sponsors this global grass-roots event each year, held on the last Saturday of April. At 10:00 in the morning- practitioners around the world gather in their communities to celebrate and demonstrate T’ai Chi & Qigong. The result is a wave that moves across the planet from time zone to time zone, documented on the WTCQD website. 90 nations participating! We have been observing this special celebration locally for over 20 years. Previously at Bowdoin College, we have moved our location to beautiful Royal River Park in Yarmouth. PLEASE NOTE: PARK ONLY IN PARKING AREAS BY THE SCHOOL. Find out more at worldtaichiday.org. And check out our web-page dedicated to the event, including the video of the 2014 gathering.

Greetings.
I am hoping to attend your event. I have done Tai Chi years ago with my instructor’s, Sensei John Jenkins and Sensei Richard Pelletier. I have not done much Tai Chi so I am out of practice. I am hoping to attend with my girlfriend. I was wondering if there will be T-Shirts representing the event.
Than you very much.
Regards
Osu!
