April 30, from 10:00 to 11:30 on the coast of Maine. Anyone interested is invited to attend and watch or participate. Watching is fine! No experience necessary.

The WTCQD organization (Bill Douglas) sponsors this grass-roots event each year on the last Saturday of April, at 10:00 in the morning- practitioners around the world gather in their communities for a global celebration of T’ai Chi & Qigong. The result is a wave that passes from time zone to time zone at 10:00am, documented on the WTCQD website. 80 nations participating! We have been observing this special celebration locally at Bowdoin College for well over a decade, hosting the largest event in the state. Our local event is hosted by Bowdoin College Asian Student Association and Bowdoin College Counseling Service. Find out more at worldtaichiday.org. And check out our web-page dedicated to the event, including the video of the 2014 gathering.
