World Tai Chi & Qigong Day 2014

April 26, from 10:00 to 11:30 @ Bowdoin College. The WTCQD organization (Bill Douglas) sponsors this grass-roots event each year on the last Saturday of April at 10:00- practitioners around the world gather in their communities for a global celebration of T’ai Chi & Qigong. The result is a wave that passes from time zone to time zone, documented on the WTCQD website. 80 nations participating! We have been observing this special celebration locally at Bowdoin College for over a decade, hosting the largest event in the state. Anyone interested is invited to attend and watch or participate. We will meet on the Museum Quad, weather permitting; rain site- Sargent Gymnasium (indoor shoe policy). Find out more at worldtaichiday.org.
