Master Bing in Brunswick, Maine

Paul & Rosalie DiCrescenzo will host Master Bing (Zhong Xue Chao) http://www.wudangdao.com/master/ again this spring, with workshops in the Boston area http://twodragonspath.com/, and two weekends of events here in Maine. Master Bing will be in Brunswick (April 27 & 28) and Rockland, at Inner Works Healing Arts Center (May 4 & 5).

We are please to welcome him back to Bowdoin College for World T’ai Chi & Qigong Day on Saturday morning, April 27th, and for two afternoon workshops on Saturday and Sunday.

Brunswick on Sunday afternoon: Bagua Fundamentals. From 1:00 to 4:00. Register online or at the event (early registration discount before 4/22). Sponsored by Paul and Rosalie, you can find out more Information at their website- twodragonspath.com/. Bagua Circle walking is a surprisingly meditative practice (has been shown to quiet the mind faster than Taiji), good for balance, stretching and loosening joints, and focusing the mind. The practice energizes and relaxes at the same time. Based on the I Ching (Book of Changes). There are hidden techniques in the circling pattern and “palm changes.”

Master Bing travels here from Wudang Mountain, where he received his training and teaches authentic Wudang Kung Fu. Formerly the Head Instructor of the Wudang Mountain Taoist Kungfu Academy and is a 15th generation disciple of Wudang Sanfeng Pai Internal Kungfu. We are very fortunate to have him share his skill, knowledge of the internal arts, and his cultural experiences- Wudang Mountain has a reputation as a Taoist spiritual center, made familiar in this country in the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. He is a generous, accessible, patient teacher, unpretentious in manner, who’s movements are truly inspirational. No experience in T’ai Chi or Qigong necessary for these workshops.
